My dog is suddenly aggressive, not eating or sleeping. What's wrong?

Toby could be in pain and acting more aggressive for that reason. He also may have had a behavior change for an unknown reason that is making him fearful of the other dogs. I’d recommend seeing your vet first to rule out pain or another medical condition since he recently had a decrease in appetite.

If Hera is refusing food and also suddenly aggressive I would be concerned she is in pain or ill. It would be best to bring her to a vet for a complete exam to try and find a cause such as GI upset, foreign body, illness, etc that could be causing her symptoms.

Hello, Gucci could have a number of things causing her symptoms, but she is ill and needs to be seen by a vet ASAP. Puppies that don't eat usually have an infection, intestinal blockage, or something else serious and the sooner she is seen the better. I hope that helps. I would recommend taking your dog to the vet for an exam, as there are definitely some medical conditions that can cause a dramatic increase in appetite like this. Some possibilities would include Cushing's disease, diabetes, a thyroid tumor, or a problem with absorbing nutrients from the GI tract. Your veterinarian can do blood work or other testing if needed to help determine what may be causing this.

I'm sorry to hear Gizmo isn't acting himself! Without seeing him it is very hard to say. It sound like he could be painful and he's acting anxious. I recommend taking him to the vet for a full physical exam. Have them check for pain in his limbs or spine. Have them check for an ear infection or any evidence of fleas. Also have them check his anal glands. These are common areas that pets have problems and show signs of anxiety. I would also question if there have been any loud noises or thunder storms. Hi. If he is acting abnormal, and its notike him, I would recommend an exam and labwork by your veterinarian. There are many things that can cause lethargy unfortunately. So without more information and testing, it is hard to say what it could be
