Why is my dog not eating, screaming, and restless with stomach pain?

Poor Timmy sounds sick. Try offering him a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts. Should he eat this, feed it to him for a couple of days, then slowly add back in his normal diet. If he refuses to eat it, then have him seen by a vet.

I would get him checked by your vet as soon as possible since he seems painful. It is odd that he ate well but his abdomen seems painful, but he could be at the beginning of an infection, he may have eaten something he shouldn't have that is causing the pain, there are a number of possibilities, especially since he is so young. Your vet will do an exam and possibly x-rays and/or labwork to try to determine the cause of his discomfort. Based on these results your vet will be better able to tell you what is going on and how best to treat it.

Poor guy. Stomach upset is a possible cause; however, with such vague symptoms of being uncomfortable and decreased appetite, there are other potential internal issues. I notice that he is intact also, so a prostate issue could also cause a sudden pain response and decreased appetite as well. If he does not seem to be improving on his own within the next 1-2 days, then it is best to get him fully examined by your veterinarian for any other sources of his pain (prostate, joints, etc). I’m sorry to hear that Timmy isn’t feeling well. He is adorable! From the photo I can see that his stool is somewhat soft and dark, an indication of diarrhea. His abdominal pain can be caused by a number of issues with his intestines, an obstruction, pancreatitis, or even ingesting something he shouldn’t have. I recommend having him seen by a vet as soon as possible, especially if he continues to not have an appetite or begins vomiting. Your vet can perform bloodwork and x-rays to determine what is going on. You can also bring a stool sample from Timmy in a disposable container to help your vet check for intestinal parasites.

This may be an emergency. Tess may be suffering from a severe gastrointestinal condition such as pancreatitis. Please take her to a Pet Emergency room this evening for an exam, some blood tests, and pain relief.

Tommy needs to go into a vet immediately. It's very serious he won't eat, he's lost lots of weight, and is weak from lack of nutrition. At his age, it could be something severe causing him to not eat, such as kidney failure, liver failure, cardiac disease, or cancer among others. He needs veterinary attention now, he will slowly be starving. Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. The information to reach that vet is found on a clinic's answering machine or website.

This sounds very concerning and you should take her to a Pet ER tonight. She could have a severe infection or could have swallowed a toy and now has an intestinal obstruction. This is an emergency. The vet will need to take radiographs and if it is an obstruction Daisy will likely need surgery. Please take her to the PetER now.
