My dog sprained his leg. Is he improving? How long for recovery?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 3 months old

2days ago bruno hurt his leg sprain his leg got slip so he was limping and not keeping his leg in the ground and today he is giving slight support on ground but can't give full support so is his legal is improving and how much time does it take to recover from sprain ??

It sounds like he is improving and a sprain can take 7-10 days or longer to heal. If he does not continue to improve than he should be examined by your vet to determine the cause and treat the problem.

    It can be several weeks depending on the severity of the sprain. If there is ligament damage, surgery may be indicated. This would need to be diagnosed by your veterinarian.
    If Lola suffered a strain (this involves muscle or tendon, not ligaments), you may be able to manage her at home using the RICE method which involves Rest, Ice, Compression, and Elevation. Your vet can instruct you in how to safely wrap a sore limb.
