My dog has a sprained leg. Can I use human pain relief spray on it?

Please do not give anything for pain unless it is specifically prescribed by your vet. The human pain relievers such as Tylenol, Motrin, Advil, Aleve, ibuprofen, etc. are all toxic to dogs. Just try to keep his movements to a minimum until he is checked by the vet.

You cannot give your dog human pain killers, the pain killers should be prescribed by your vet as these are dog specific pain killers. if the leg is broken it must at the very least be put in a splint, it will immobilize the leg, it will give it a chance to heal and will reduce the pain significantly.

Unfortunately no there is no way to get pet friendly pain medication without first seeing a vet. You will have to schedule an appt with your vet to get the prescription that is needed. Over the counter human pain meds should not be used in pets because they can cause acute liver and/or kidney failure.
