Why is my dog sore, lethargic, and has painful chest swelling?

I recommend to have Sadie seen by her veterinarian to have that lesion examined. Just like with people, any skin lesion that continues to open up, heal and then open up again is suspicious for a skin cancer. Also like which people, the doctor may need to remove the lesion or take a sample of the lesion to know what it is. Treatment will depend on the results. Continue to protect the lesion from trauma. Poor Luke! Swelling at the injection site is pretty unusual, but can be very uncomfortable. The swelling can be controlled with anti-inflammatory medication, and should definitely be reported to your vet so they can potentially modify the vaccines Luke gets in the future. In the meantime, you should try to keep Luke comfortable and calm until he can be seen by his vet. I hope all is well!

I'm sorry Sally is not feeling well! The large blister definitely looks like it can be caused by an inset bite and is painful, but it is also concerning that she is lethargic. I recommend having her looked at by a vet as soon as possible, in case there is systemic toxicity from the bite.

Lethargy, trouble walking, not eating/pooping are all signs of weakness and being generally unwell. This can be due to many causes however for a dog that is 2 years old I would be concerned about things such as fungal disease, parasite disease, heartworm, Addison's disease, or sometimes it can be more simple like an abscess. The wheezing is concerning that he has trouble in his lungs or heart, so heartworm is a concern. The squishy lump could be an abscess (pus filled pocket) and this could cause all the signs you are seeing as well. Either way, I recommend you get him to a vet right away, even a simple thing such as an abscess, which is fixed fairly easily, can be fatal if not treated in time. Best of luck with Champ! Poor Cotton! I'm sorry to hear that he's not feeling well. Unfortunately, this sounds like quite a serious problem. A swollen abdomen can be caused by a number of different things, including heart disease, liver disease, internal bleeding. or an abdominal tumor of some kind. His rear leg issues could be caused by some type of neurologic problem, or could be due to overall weakness due to whatever is causing the abdominal swelling. Lethargy is a very vague symptom that could be caused by almost any kind of illness. I would recommend taking Cotton to the vet for an exam right away, as this may be a life-threatening problem. Your veterinarian can do blood work and x-rays or an abdominal ultrasound if needed to help diagnose the problem and get him started on appropriate treatment.

I would be concerned in that this swollen teat could be due to mastitis, and that would also cause her to breath heavily, be lethargic, and not want to eat. Now given that mastitis can be fatal without treatment, I would have Ariel seen by a vet right away. The vet can diagnose if she does have mastitis, and can treat her for it.

This could be a cyst, benign growth, malignant growth, or lipoma. Any suspicious lumps should be examined by the vet. The vet can perform a test called a fine needle aspirate on it. To do this, the vet sticks a small needle into the lump to get a sample of its cells, and examines the cells on a slide under a microscope. It's usually painless to the animal, and relatively quick to perform. Once the cause of the lump is diagnosed, the vet can discuss treatment options if needed.
