My dog has soft stool and gas after eating turkey soup. What to do?

Pet's info: Dog | Beagle Harrier | Male | neutered | 11 years and 9 months old | 25 lbs

I fed my dog turkey soup a week ago, he has been having soft stool and now smelly gas. What can I do ?

While the turkey may have something to with it, Freckles' diarrhea could also be caused by toxin ingestion, parasites, infectious diseases, blockage in the gastrointestinal tract caused by ingestion of a foreign body, or a mass/growth in the gastrointestinal tract. I recommend you take Freckles in to the vet, and take in a fecal sample from Freckles when you go. Your vet will likely want to test the sample to see what kind of parasites Freckles may be dealing with so that they can be treated for accordingly. If no parasites are noted, your vet can recommend further diagnostics and treatment to help manage Freckles' diarrhea.
