My dog keeps sneezing, snorting, reverse sneezing. Should I see a vet?

Hi there and thanks for posting on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Sneezing can be a sign of an allergy, yes. Sneezes can also be a sign of an upper respiratory infection as well. I would recommended Kaya see her veterinarian for an exam so her vet can determine whether or not she has an infection or whether it is just caused by an allergy and to determine what treatment may be most appropriate. Bentley is very cute! I would recommend taking him to a veterinarian for a good physical exam. I would be concerned with an older patient that maybe his teeth are causing inflammation in the nasal passage or even an upper respiratory infection. In older pets a vet visit is always best. A reverse sneeze can be caused by irritants in the upper airway region so if there has been an increased amount of dust in the air this could potentially be causing the symptoms you are seeing. An environmental allergy or an upper respiratory infection could also lead to these symptoms. A reverse sneeze should resolve within a short amount of time. I would have Lily seen by a vet. It could be that she is suffering from a respiratory infection or could have allergies. Her symptoms are something that needs to be treated, but in order for her to be treated properly, the cause of them has to be diagnosed. Once the vet makes the diagnosis, they can prescribe medication for her. I would take her into the vet tomorrow. I hope this helps!

I'd recommend having Gigi examined by a vet - this sounds like extreme sneezing. There might be a foreign object stuck in her nose. If she has also had nasal discharge then an infection, growth, or even a tooth root abscess could be causing the sneezing.
