My dog is sneezing, coughing, and lethargic. Is this parvovirus?

I don’t think this sounds like parvovirus. It actually sounds like your dogs could have canine infectious respiratory disease syndrome or kennel cough. If it is primarily coughing and clear nasal discharge that you are seeing there may not be any treatment necessary. I’d the nasal discharge is yellow or green and opaque or if the dogs have a decrease in appetite or trouble breathing you should see your vet.

It sounds like your puppy is extremely sick, and parvovirus can take a few weeks for a dog to fully recover. It's very concerning he is not drinking as dehydration is the number one cause of death in these animals. He should see a vet again immediately, please take him into one now. Best of luck.

The most likely diagnosis for a puppy with Jack Jack's symptoms is parvo virus. I suggest you get him to a vet as soon as possible for an exam and parvo test. This is serious and life-threatening. Do not try to continue to treat him at home. He may not have parvo as there are other things that can, of course, cause his symptoms but regardless of what is ailing him he is very sick and needs veterinary intervention.

If Bazzi is continuing to eat and hasn't coughed as much, it may be the antibiotics are working and he doesn't have distemper. I would continue to watch him closely, and bring him back into the vet if he stops eating or shows any new symptoms. Best of luck.

Poor Max. Coughing and gagging could be due to a number of things, but most concerning in a young puppy is contagious disease such as "kennel cough" or even pneumonia. Diarrhea may be due to intestinal parasites, a diet change, or stress. Monitor him closely over the weekend. If he stops eating, acts lethargic, the cough progresses, or he develops a fever (99.5 - 102.5 F is normal in dogs), then take him to an emergency vet right away.

It sounds as though Vito has been through quite a bit over the past week! It is concerning that he is now lethargic, not eating, and coughing, after being normal for a week after his procedures. My main concern is that he may have developed kennel cough or canine influenza after being in a shelter situation. To answer your question, yes, I do think you should take him to the vet for evaluation. In addition to a physical exam, Vito may need to have chest x-rays taken or blood testing performed. The coughing and sneezing, especially if accompanied by nasal discharge can be caused by an upper respiratory infection or even pneumonia. These conditions require a veterinary exam and potentially bloodwork and x-rays to diagnose and treat. I recommend having Trigo seen by a vet as soon as possible.
