My dog is sick. Should I wait until morning or go to the ER vet?

With vague symptoms such as generalized lethargy, there is no right or wrong answer to taking her now vs waiting until the morning to see if anything changes. If she is vomiting or has diarrhea then I would take her for sure. Since she is still eating and drinking, you can monitor her for further changes such as those before going in. IF she is not better after 24 hours then I would get her checked also. If you will feel better and sleep better by having her checked tonight, then that is the best option for you.

If he refuses to drink the water, or he drinks the water and then vomits it up, then I would take him into the ER vet. It's a pretty serious sign when a dog won't drink water or can't keep it down, and in cases like that, it's best for them to see a vet right away. Should he drink the water and keep it down, then it's fine to wait until the morning to take him into the vet. Continue to monitor him tonight, and if Paws becomes very lethargic, the shaking gets worse, he starts vomiting, or he shows any other signs of illness, then take him into an ER vet right away. I would find Layla an ER vet. She sounds very ill at the moment, and I don't think it should wait until the morning. If there isn't an ER vet in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. The information to find that vet is found on the clinic's answering machine or website. It's hard for me to give you an opinion without seeing the condition myself, if it looks badly infected and your dog is extremely bothered by it or lethargic- you should take him to the ER ASAP, otherwise it can wait for tomorrow.

My concerned about Gunner is his symptoms. Without seeing him in person, I cannot say he will be ok. You said that he is puking, cannot keep anything down including water. That tells me he is quite sick, and whenever a dog cannot keep down water, it's an emergency. He could easily become dehydrated from this vomiting, leading to worse problems.
