If Jersey ingested any pellets, they should pass through her system uneventfully. If she ingested lead slugs, they may require removal before they cause lead toxicity. The nitrates in the gunpowder may cause vomiting, diarrhea, tremors, difficulty breathing or hematological changes (RBC damage). The shell case or wad should pass but may also cause GI upset. If Jersey chewed them within the past 1-2 hours, have her seen by your vet. Vomiting can be induced to get any material up and out.
