My dog is shaking and not alert. Could he be having seizures?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | unneutered | 3 years old | 50 lbs

my 2 year old staffie x bull arab has been having back and forth no motion tremors. he’s asleep next to me but isn’t very alert when we wake him or when the cats go near him when usually he goes crazy sniffing them.

It is possible that Mushroom could be having seizures, another nervous system disorder, muscle disorder, infection, toxin exposure, among a few others. I would recommend that you have him checked out by a vet as soon as possible. If you can, video is tremors as this may help a vet see what is going on. In case these episodes are seizures, remember to keep you hands well away from his mouth in case he bites, since some seizing dogs aren't aware of what is happening and could cause some serious damage.
