My dog suddenly started shaking and convulsing. Is it a seizure?

Pet's info: Dog | Bichon Frise | Male | neutered | 7 years and 7 months old | 16 lbs

My dog just suddenly starting shaking his whole body legs arms head it lasted about 1 min approx (convulsions) and he seemed in pain but no changes in his eyes and he did not have anything coming out of his mouth water or gleam , could this of been a seizure or something else ?

It's possible that this could have been a type of a seizure, but there are other conditions and behaviors that could mimic a seizure. If this continues, or Bruno is otherwise acting abnormal, then it's best to have him examined by a vet as soon as possible.

If Bruno is otherwise acting normal, then there is no need to rush him to the vet, but it would be good to have a vet evaluate him sometime in the near future, because the vet may detect an underlying problem (i.e. heart or neurologic disease) causing this convulsing. It would also be very helpful for you to record a video of him doing the convulsing behavior if you happen to see it again.
