There is a chance that her current Iams diet may contain the same protein source as the previous diet, and if she is sensitive, it could be causing issues. To perform this diet trial, you will find a new food with one protein source/one carbohydrate source that is different from the one that she is currently receiving. If the diet trial is unsuccessful and Emmi continues having episodes of vomiting and diarrhea, consider taking her to her vet for an exam and further testing. I would recommend putting Shelly on a low residue diet. This type of diet will be easier to digest than a typical diet and therefore not cause as much GI upset. I would recommend a prescription low residue diet. You can discuss this with your vet and he can make a good recommendation for a particular type/brand of food.

I'm sorry but I can't tell you that either. If it happened once and he seems otherwise normal you can give it a bit and see what happens. If he seems uncomfortable, has vomited multiple times, does not want to eat or has other symptoms I would consider it an emergency.
