Is it safe to feed my dog scrambled eggs? Are they healthy for dogs?

It doesn’t hurt them but I would not make them with any butter or seasonings. Also, I would not make that their sole source of nutrition. They need commercial puppy food to ensure they are getting all the nutrients that they need. I hope this helps!

If he tolerated it well, this may be ok, However, this should only be used to supplement his regular diet more as a snack to be given every once in a while as opposed to using it mainly as a complete diet. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! There is really nothing you need to do. You can feed cooked eggs to dogs. This may cause gastrointestinal upset to some dogs but for the most part it is well-tolerated. Best of luck!

Eggs are fine as an occasional treat, but it's not something that Andy should get daily. The only food that a dog needs is a high quality dog food, which will provide him all the nutrients he needs to be healthy. Adding additional food on top of that will lead to extra calories and weight gain. Weight gain leads to obesity, which in turn leads to its own health problems such as heart disease, diabetes, and joint problems. It would be fine to give him a boiled egg (no shell) once or twice a week as a treat. You can also give him a scrambled egg, but make sure it's egg only and no seasonings etc. Good luck, I hope this helps!

Yes, you can make eggs for Hunter if you want to - they're a fairly good, healthy treat as long as you give them in moderation. You can make them scrambled or fried, just make sure to cook the yolk to avoid any risk of salmonella - just like in humans :)

Hello. It is very safe to give a boiled egg daily to Bruno. Eggs are just as good for dogs as they are for people. I doubt that 1 egg will increase his weight significantly & dietary cholesterol is not a significant source of this compound.
