My dog has been licking and dragging her butt feverishly. She was doing the same 2-3 weeks ago but we had her glands expressed and she wasn't as affixed to her anus. Due to how recently we expressed her glands would it be safe to try an over the counter worm medication to ensure its not worms? Or is having her glands expressed again this soon normal? Thank you

Unfortunately some dogs have continuing problems with their anal sacs, and Snowball's may be impacted again and need to be expressed. It could also be that she has intestinal worms. Try adding some pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling) to her food to see if that helps. Give her one teaspoon at each meal. If this doesn't help, I would take her back into the vet. Best of luck, I hope this helps!
