Sarcoptic mange can be treated with several medications such as ivermectin, advantage multi and bravecto. all the medications used for sarcoptic mange are prescription only, meaning you will need to get them from your vet.

You would need to get a skin scrape at your vet's first to confirm it is indeed mites (it could be many other things). my preferred medication for mites is Bravecto although Advocate and Ivermectin are good options as well.

After some research I have found that you can buy Ivermectin. It is very EASY to overdose so please be careful dosing your dog. It is dosed by weight. Demodicosis and scabies are caused by 2 different mites, Demodex and Sarcpotes, respectively. The only way to diagnose and differentiate between these mites is by a veterinarian performing a skin scraping. This technique essentially scrapes away the top few layers of skin cells and bit of blood just under the outermost cells so that the sample can be examined microscopically. The mites are diagnosed during this microscopic exam and can easily be distinguished.
