Just check to make sure that it's all (or mostly) been absorbed before you give her next scheduled dose of fluids, since it can be uncomfortable for her to have large amounts of fluid just sitting under her skin for long periods of time - if you need to, you can delay it by a few hours until the "bubble" is mostly gone.

Other causes of altered respiration include abdominal pain, fever, medications that were administered to Babbi. If his breathing remains abnormal for the next 1-2hrs minutes you should get in touch with your local vets as Babbi may need to be seen and assess again by a vet today.

He definitely needs continued antibiotic therapy and he should be eating small meals of very high calorie foods every 3-4 hours. Hello, sorry to hear about Prince. It sounds like he may have right sided heart disease in which the blood backs up into his veins and the vascular fluid begins to leak out of the vessels. This generally leads to fluid in the belly causing abdominal distention, fluid in the chest, and subcutaneous fluid. Other causes of 3rd spacing can be associated with a low protein level either due to liver disease or loss of protein through the kidneys or bowel. It sounds like prince needs to have a full evaluation of his vital organs and this may include bloodwork, an abdominal ultrasound, a heart ultrasound, and blood pressure monitoring. Ultimately, Prince may need to be evaluated by his veterinarian or an internist to determine why he is having fluid accumulation outside of his vasculature. Hope this helps and best of luck.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Berry! Parvo is a very serious disease and sadly can take much longer than 2 days to resolve. On average it takes 3-7 days and the puppies get worse before they get better. That is a lot of diarrhea. Be sure that you are keeping up with Berry's hydrational needs. Hopefully she is getting IV fluids, IV antibiotics and IV antinausea medications since she isn't holding anything down. Ideally she should be hospitalized if that is possible. Poor Shadow. Parvovirus is a though disease to recover from. In addition, he could have swollen something he should not have. The grass you see could be worms that have died and are coming out. It sounds like Shadow is uncomfortable and I would suggest a recheck ar the vet office. Shadow may need additional medicine. Hello. It does sometimes take time for the gut to heal after a bad bout of Parvo, & 11 days of treatment says to me this was a tough one. Continue to fed Pluto, but you might want to switch to an intestinal diet or one made for sensitive stomachs & skin. I would try feeding pretty small amounts frequently, rather than 2-3 larger meals a day. Even a tablespoon or two every hour or so might be tolerated better. If your Pluto was not under the care of a vet for this, I would also be concerned about concurrent intestinal parasites, so a good deworming may be necessary.
