My dog has a red spot on her leg that isn't itchy. When to see a vet?

Pet's info: Dog | Staffordshire Bull Terrier | Female | spayed | 45 lbs

My dog has a red spot on her leg. She doesnt itch it or anything, but it doesn't look good. I am wondering if there is something i can get to put on it or if i need to go to the vet to get medicine.

I agree with you that the area looks very irritated. It's a little difficult to tell from the pictures, but the area actually looks a little thickened or swollen, so I think it is worth having your veterinarian examine it and do some testing to see what might be going on in order to determine the best treatment for Atlas.
