My bichon gets a really red and foul smelling ear also hot spots that he chews on his back they are recurring regular what should I do he will not let me near it he would bite

It looks like he has a hot spot. The best thing would be to have him examined by a vet for treatment. He probably needs an antibiotic, anti-histamine, and/or a corticosteroid to help get his allergies under control. You can also bathe him with a medicated dog shampoo and see if that helps. There is a new allergy medication called Apoquel that you could ask your vet about and see if that helps, too.
