Is a prominent vein on my dog's inner leg near his testicles normal?

Are you talking about the veins on the side of his legs? Those appear normal for his breed and its nothing to worry about. The line on his left side along his ribs is harder to tell what is going on there. There's not a vein, per se, that would be there to be prominent normally. Does the skin appear normal in this line? Some dogs have bulging veins on their body, the vein may be visible all the time or only occasionally, usually when your dog has been having some type of physical exercise which causes the blood flow and blood pressure to increase. everything i mentioned is of course normal but if the vein appears randomly when your dog is at rest for example that would be something i would probably recommend to check (such as blood pressure at rest and heart rate at rest) to rule out any medical condition.

As for the bowing of his front legs, that is likely an angular limb deformity but to tell I would need to see him walk. It is usually from premature closure of one of the growth plates in the leg. If he walks normal it could be a variation of normal. If he isn't limping and can run well I wouldn't worry too much about the legs. Have a good day!

Yes, dogs have arteries and veins that can become more visible when they are excited (higher blood pressure) or during heat cycle. The veins that you have highlighted are carrying blood from the mammary glands and can be more prominent while in Precious is in heat. These are not a cause for concern. :-)

What you may be seeing is his bulbus glandis. They are two glands located at the base of the penis on both sides. They function during mating to effect the tie while mounting a female. This is normal and likely no cause for concern. The pigmentation of his scrotum may also be normal. You can have him seen by your veterinarian to discuss any concerns regarding either.

On thinner areas of the dog such as the lower back leg, you can see the veins and it's not a problem. That being said, you can see inflammation of the superficial veins in dogs caused by an infection or formation of a clot. Without seeing Rey in person, I can't say for certain if this is ok or not. Hello. Swollen testicles with progrssive swelling in the pelvic limb(s) might be an indication of infection, inflammation or even neoplasia.
