If she is in heat and has been potentially left alone with intact male dogs, there is always a chance she may be pregnant. The only way to prevent her from becoming pregnant 100% is to have her spayed, especially if you do not wish to have puppies. It appears that she has grass stains on her, which may have been from her getting out, or just playing in your yard. If she is acting ill, it is best to seek veterinary care to try and determine the cause and treat any injuries she may have gotten. If you suspect she may already be pregnant, taking her to the vet to confirm it is also best.

It all depends on whether the male dog ejaculated or not. You can run a pregnancy test and/or an ultrasound at 28 days or have an X-ray done at day 50. Write down the date when they mated. They normally stay joined for several minutes. Once the swelling from the male decrease they will part. There is s likely chance she may be pregnant from this but never a guarantee. The best recommendations are to breed a female after 18 months of age to allow full maturity. if she is younger than a year then she may need a c section to help with delivery. When she comes out of heat in 2 weeks then you can schedule to have her spayed before anything develops

Unless there is a very large difference in size between your male dog and your female dog with the female being very small, there should be no problem if she gets pregnant. However, if you do not want puppies nor want to breed her later on I suggest you discuss spaying with your vet. There are so many puppies out there needing a new home, there is not point in adding to that. Being pregnant now will basically cut short her puppy time as well.

Hello. It is tough to tell without an x-ray or ultrasound exam. It is very possible that the male still had viable sperm in his reproductive tract ( sperm can remain viable for 3-4 weeks in the accessory sex glands of a recently neutered male ). Female dogs only go into heat once every six months, but if there was an intact male dog in your home when Tiger was in heat, she could be pregnant. You will have to take her into the vet to confirm if she is pregnant or not.
