This could be from intestinal parasites or dietary related. I would bring a fecal sample in to a veterinarian and have them check for intestinal parasites so that the most appropriate treatment can be given. If the stool is negative for parasites then I would begin a bland diet of chicken and rice until the stool returns to normal and then transition back over a 7 day period to a different dog food such as science diet or royal canin. I would be concerned that Shadow was throwing up blood yesterday, but given that you are seeing any more of that red jelly substance, it could be something that she ate. Her vomiting could also be caused by a GI illness, intestinal parasites, or a foreign body. Because she is eating and drinking normally, and otherwise behaving normally, I can give you a home remedy to try to see if that helps. Withhold food for 12-24 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, she vomits the bland diet, vomits the red jelly substance again, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, she will need to see a vet right away.

It sounds as Calliope is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better. if the vet thinks it is more serious she will need a blood test and possibly an ultrasound in order to find out what is wrong.

Poor girl! It sound like she has a possible infection. Certain infections can affect the limbs and also make the pet feel yucky all around, causing a lack of appetite. I would definitely recommend taking Callie in to your vet for blood work analysis to hopefully pinpoint where the problem is and look for evidence of an infection, so that she is treated promptly with the necessary medications (I.e. Antibiotics) to help her recover from her illness.
