Why is my dog's poop smellier after switching to Wellness Core?

Changing diets can certainly cause changes in stool appearance and size. The Royal Canin hypoallergenic diet is a higher quality diet than Kibbles and Bits, which typically results in less waste due to fewer filler ingredients. Higher quality diets often result in slightly smaller and less frequent stools. If Spock had an obstruction, I would expect profuse vomiting, anorexia and lethargy, so this sounds unlikely. As long as Spock is eating and active with no evidence of vomiting or diarrhea, it doesn't sound like there is cause for concern! :-)

The increased stool production can definitely be due to the diet change. It may take him more than 2 days to get used to eating the Orijen only. Be very careful with this food and don't let him eat more than the recommended amount. This food is very high in calories and he may start gaining a lot of weight. Your options are to switch him back to the Wellness since that seemed to agree with him OR give him some more time to adjust to the Orijen only diet (like 7-10 days).

For healthy weight I prefer the Royal Canin diets. They are typically very low calorie but easily to digest. Natural Balance also has some good healthy weight options. Dogs who eat this diet typically produce good quality stool and low quantity stool which means that the diet does not have a lot of filler. Thank you for your questions about Koda. I would not say that is normal and I suspect it may be a sign that he does not tolerate the new diet as well. The jury is still out on grain free food, some pets do well on it and other ones develop heart conditions and constipation issues. Most vets generally do not recommend them. I do advise changing the diet again. If you are looking for a nice food, I recommend a brand called Royal Canin. It is generally very easy to digest and most pets who eat this diet have nice coats, good stool quality and low stool quantity (a sign that the diet does not contain many fillers). Change the diet slowly over about a weeks time. If the diarrhea continues, have the stool checked for parasites as this can also cause changes to the stool. I hope you found this helpful. I would suggest that for Siri. In general you want to find the lowest fat you could. There is a brand called California Naturals that has a very low fat variety. If Sirius continues to vomit, I would recommend to take him into the vet to make sure his GI condition is not flaring up. I hope this helps!
