Can my puppies play after 2 weeks of ringworm/coccidiosis meds?

Unless she has feces on her hair and if she defecates when around other dogs, she will not pass on the worms just by playing with other dogs. However, you cannot say for sure whether or not she has microscopic eggs stuck to her fur or if she will defecate around the other dogs. I would play it safe and finish off the deworming medication and recheck the stool in 7 days (from starting the medication) before socializing her with any other dogs. If she defecates and you pick it up, there is no way to tell if you got every microscopic egg off the ground. If she does defecate outside, it is recommended to remove the top 8 inches of soil from the area to ensure you have removed all eggs. I would also recommend regularly cleaning her bedding so that she does not re-infect herself and that you are using a bleach solution (3 cups bleach to 1 cup water) to spray surfaces down. It seems your first sentence is missing a word in the middle, so I'm not sure what you'd specifically like to let your puppy do. However, it is fine to let Dak continue his normal activities, including socializing and laying around the house. The main precaution when you're treating him for Coccidia is to promptly clean up his stool outside - which is always recommended, but particularly important while a dog is being treated for intestinal parasites, to minimize the risk of contaminating the soil and reinfecting him or another animal. It is recommended to have your veterinarian recheck a fecal sample 2-3 weeks after treating to make sure Dak's coccidia have been cleared. Hope this helps!

I would highly advise isolation in this case but I will tell you this, even shed hairs are contagious so direct contact is NOT needed to spread ringworm. Ringworm should be treated for at 1-2 months after all lesions are gone. I would retest Taco for ringworm to make sure it is completely cleared before integrating him. Good luck Also, ringworm is a Zoonotic disease meaning humans can catch it from dogs. Small children and the elderly, especially shouldn't have contact with him during the time of treatment.

There are certain worms that can be transmitted from dogs to people, but it's not easy. However, there is a particular concern with kids getting Toxocariasis. If the worms were diagnosed by a veterinarian, then she should be able to find out the species of worms that were discovered and let you know if they are a concern. Hello, once the ringworm has cleared up, they should not be shedding it persistently. However, you need to make sure that you've also cleaned your environment by washing all bedding and clothing Snickers used 2-3 times weekly. Vacuuming and cleaning all surfaces that snickers frequented in the same frequency as the ringworm fungus can live in the environment for a long time. You should prevent the puppies and mom from being around these areas until you have cleaned thoroughly. Hope this helps and best of luck.

Coccidia is transmitted via the fecal oral route so if there any surfaces that are contaminated with your pup's feces, this should be washed thoroughly and other dogs should be kept away from it.
