A week ago, I noticed a pink, pimple-like thing on Bruce's chest. I applied GNC Antibacterial Spray, which caused it to shrink. But over the past week, the skin there has gotten rough and turned bright pink, and today, I peeled away what looked like scabs. He isn't sluggish and the spot doesn't seem to pain him. I've been wiping the spot with peroxide, and washed it with Hexachlor-K shampoo today, but is there anything else I can do before our vet appointment on Tuesday?

This sounds like a hotspot and daily cleansing with an antibacterial wash such as hexachlor is very helpful. These can be quite irritable so be careful when bathing as the area may be very sensitive but keeping it clean and open to the air will speed recovery
