My pug pees drops. Is it bladder stones, a tumor, or other issues?

For that reason, I would encourage you to go to your veterinarian as this could be something treatable and very manageable. It is hard to look at x-rays through the PetCoach system, but I do not see any bladder stones. There does appear to be some gas in the bladder, which may have been inadvertently introduced through catheterization or could indicate the presence of a gas-producing bacteria. The prostate is significantly enlarged, to the point where it could constrict the urethra and cause straining to urinate. The urinalysis shows a possible infection, which could come from the bladder or prostate. I would not start urinary alkalizers without the certainty of oxalate stones. I would start antibiotics appropriate for a prostate infection and have Sheldon neutered ASAP, which can help with BPH https://www.petcoach.co/dog/condition/prostate-enlargement/

I am so sorry that Puffy is having this issue. I would recommend having an x-ray performed to rule out or in stones. If she has bladder stones then ideally she would have surgery. If she is about 10 years old I wouldn't be concerned about the surgery as long as her physical examination is good and her blood work is good. If she does not have bladder stones I would recommend getting a urine culture performed and potentially an ultrasound of her bladder. The urine culture will definitively rule out a urinary tract infection while the ultrasound will make sure there is no mass in her bladder. The bumps look like nipples to me in your picture, although if they are not in the right location it is possible that these are some kind of a skin mass. I am concerned about the crystals you are seeing in her urine. True urinary crystals are microscopic, but you could be seeing small bladder stones or potentially something like blood in her urine. I would recommend having her examined by your veterinarian - they can take a look at the bumps in person and can also test her urine. If they are suspicious of bladder stones they might recommend an x-ray or an ultrasound.

If she has bladder stones, she needs to have them removed because they will irritate the lining of the bladder causing bleeding and other complications. Once the stones are removed, they can have them tested to determine what kind of stones they are and can put Puffy on a special diet to help prevent them from forming again. I would also recommend having her spayed at the same time to prevent a life-threatening infection that can occur within the uterus causing her to need emergency surgery. There is a chance the blood in the urine is coming from her uterus but if a vet saw stones in the bladder, that is more likely. Good luck and kisses to Puffy!

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. It sounds as if there is a consistent diagnosis amongst the 2 veterinarians that have seen pugsly. That being said, the shivering could be pain related. The stones can be quite uncomfortable and if he is not on any pain medications this could be why. Of course if the temperature is too cold this could also be why, so ensuring it is an adequate temperature inside would help as well. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
