Why is my dog peeing inside, very thirsty, and her pee stinks?

Unfortunately the concerns is that there may be a urinary tract infection which needs to be treated with antibiotics. I recommend to get her into see the veterinarian and have her urine checked for infection or crystals as these can commonly show up like this. Sometimes very concentrated urine can smell stronger and in that instance, you want to increase the drinking. This can be achieved by adding water to the food but it sounds like she is already drinking a lot. Play it safe and have her urine checked to be sure. Excessive urinations could be caused by a urinary tract infection, kidney disease, diabetes, etc. You should schedule an appointment with your vet for bloodwork and a urinalysis. It could just be a behavioral issue but she should have a work-up to rule out potential causes.

Even though it’s only happening at night, Fiddle still might have a urinary tract infection or a problem causing increased thirst that leads to increased urination (infections, kidney disease and diabetes would be a few of these diseases). I would recommend seeing your vet - they would probably recommend checking a urine sample to start.

Bella's behavior now could signify a UTI. Dogs who have a UTI often pee in the home and other inappropriate places. Blood can be microscopic if present in the urine during a UTI, so just because you don't see blood in her urine doesn't mean she does not have a UTI. Have her seen by a vet for this behavior in the morning.

I would recommend to take Nina into the vets today if possible. She may have a urinary tract infection, bladder stones or even something very serious like a urethral blockage (which can be fatal). The doctor will palpate her abdomen and get a urine sample to analyze. I'm not sure that the eyes are related to the urine issues, they could just be a symptom that she is sick or could be an issue all of their own. Drinking a lot more means that he is also urinating a lot more. This is called Polydipsia and polyuria or PU PD. There are various reasons for PU PD and they need to be investigated by a veterinarian, especially in an old dog. Blood work can rule out any of those. 1) diabetes---a urinalysis and blood test will be able to rule it in or out. Diabetes is usually treated with diet and insulin. 2) Cushing's disease: This is an overproduction of cortisone, either signaled by a pituitary tumor in the brain or by a malfunction or tumor of the adrenal glands. Medication can inhibit cortisone production. A potbelly and thinning or haircoat and excessive panting are common signs as well. 3) Kidney disease, treated with diet and supportive treatment 4) A urinary tract infection, urinary crystals or stones: treatment varies according to the cause. 5) diabetes insipidus, usually tested with a water deprivation test and treated with a medication called Minirin. You will need to make an appointment with your vet for an exam and blood tests. I am sure your vet will find the cause of the PU PD.
