My dog peed while lying down and didn't notice. What should I do?

For that reason, I would encourage you to go to your veterinarian as this could be something treatable and very manageable. Your dog could be suffering from a weal bladder, a urinary infection or urinary stones. I would recommend taking him to the vet in order to get it checked, he will need to have a urine test done and then he will be treated according to the results.
