Why is my dog panting and holding her back leg straight after jumping?

Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Female | unspayed | 15 lbs

My dog jumped off the bed about 2 hours ago at the time of the incident she cried & scream she now is just panting with no apparent signs of distress she can walk but when she does her left back leg is completely straight & she is holding at an angle she has also been Continuously panting

What you're describing sounds like pain in Zoey. It could be due to a soft tissue/muscle injury or even a herniated disc in her spine. I recommend you keep her quiet and restrict her activity and if she does not improve take her to a veterinarian's office. Do not give any pain medication as human medication can be very toxic to dogs
