My dog has pancreatitis. Why are her back legs weak and unbalanced?

Poor Abby. I am concerned that she is having a different problem than the pancreatitis. My biggest concern is that she may have a inflammed disc in her neck that is cause her a lot of pain and/or some neurological issues. I would have your vet do an exam and see if she needs some anti-inflammatories and pain meds. Your vet will be able to do some spinal X-rays if needed. You can use a large towel or sheet slung under him to provide additional support while walking until he loses weight and gains strength and stability. Dog booties with a rough tread/sole may also provide more traction. They should be removed periodically though to give him a break and to allow his paws to air out.

Pmcreatitis is very painful, so the shaking could be interpreted as an expression of pain. Unfortunately Tramadol does not work very well for pain, not as good as in people. The Cerenia works a lot better for visceral pain. Being lethargic is also normal with pancreatitis. Under normal circumstances we hospitalize dogs with pancreatitis, however this is not always possible depending on the area where you live and whether such facilities are available. If Bombon deteriorates or gets much worse you will need to take her to a vet before Monday, or a Pet ER.

Pancreatitis is a serious disease and a dog can die from it. So you need to give her time to recuperate. It will take more than two days for her to become healthy. Make sure she is hydrated and feed her only small amounts of the gastrointestinal food, but offer it often. Eventually she will start eating better. I agree that changing Shadow's diet to a bland diet and keeping him on antibiotics (not long term) will be beneficial for him. Pancreatitis can be serious and is usually painful.
