  Finicky dogs can be tough to get to eat pet food if they are used to eating people food.
  For pets with a pancreatitis, I recommend to feed the Royal Canin Low Fat or Hill's I/D Low Fat. Make sure to speak with your veterinarian before making any changes to her diet. These diets come in both canned and dried. Generally these diets are low residue and so should help with the gas.
  While most dogs can be gradually weaned from human food, you should also ask your vet about this first. Also make sure she is checked for parasites and giardia which can cause irritation in the colon which could allow production of the bad gas as well. If Akoya can lose weight, this can help with the breathing issues. Remember weight loss most be slow (<2% of total body weigth per week).

  Thank you for submitting your question regarding your dog. First, it is best to see your veterinarian to ensure there is not a medical problem causing the frequent gas. If not, then I would consider trying a new diet and see if this agrees better with your dog. Purina, for example, makes a sensitive skin and stomach formula. I hope this information helps!
