Why is my dog not eating, vomiting, shivering, and has a chest lump?

It does sound like Pepper is sick. This large lump on her side could be an abscess, cyst, benign tumor, or a malignant tumor. An abscess or malignant tumor would cause her to not want to eat or drink. It is serious that she doesn't want to drink, and I would take her into a vet now. If you wait until morning, she could become seriously dehydrated, and it's best to prevent that. The vet can examine the lump and can perform a test called a fine needle aspirate on it to diagnose it. To do this, the vet sticks a small needle into the lump to get a sample of it's cells, and examines the cells on a slide under a microscope. It's usually painless to the animal, and relatively quick to perform. The vet will also likely do routine blood tests and a urinalysis to diagnose why she is feeling so poorly, and how best to treat her.

Lethargy, trouble walking, not eating/pooping are all signs of weakness and being generally unwell. This can be due to many causes however for a dog that is 2 years old I would be concerned about things such as fungal disease, parasite disease, heartworm, Addison's disease, or sometimes it can be more simple like an abscess. The wheezing is concerning that he has trouble in his lungs or heart, so heartworm is a concern. The squishy lump could be an abscess (pus filled pocket) and this could cause all the signs you are seeing as well. Either way, I recommend you get him to a vet right away, even a simple thing such as an abscess, which is fixed fairly easily, can be fatal if not treated in time. Best of luck with Champ! As for the lack of appetite and lethargy, those are very general signs of illness in dogs, and it could be caused by systemic illness, infection, inflammation, or injury. Because Siu q is going to see the vet for this lump, I would have a health check done on her as well to diagnose the cause of the lethargy and lack of appetite.

I would recommend taking Pups to the vet. These symptoms are very concerning, and probably not related to her mammary nodule. It could be dietary intolerance or indiscretion, food allergy, intestinal parasites, GI blockage, gastroenteritis, bacterial or viral infection, IBD, pancreatitis, among others. The straining and liquid is likely severe diarrhea - similar to humans, you can strain with diarrhea and have nothing come out. The vet will do a thorough exam and may recommend blood work or x-rays to determine what is going on.

It sounds like there may be more than 1 thing going on. The vomiting may just be an upset stomach if he ate something he wasn't supposed to but it can also be pancreatitis/foreign body/etc. The red thing on his chest may be a growth, hotspot, or something else but without seeing him it is hard to say. I would try to take him to the veterinarian today or tomorrow (if your veterinarian is open). His urinating when he is excited can be hormones but also urinary tract infection and even prostatitis. I would recommend that Linda see a vet. The lump may or may not be related to her other signs but vomitting and diarrhea with lethargy can become serious quickly in small breed dogs. Blood in her stool and brown vomitus indicates bleeding in her GI tract so she may be at risk of anemia as well as dehydration. She should be seen asap if she is still vomitting or lethargic and depressed. And mammary cancer is more likely to occur in unspayed females so the lump should be checked out as well. I would be very concerned this lump could be cancerous, and it's very serious that Riley will not get out of his bed and will not eat. I think he needs to see a vet now. Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies.
