My dog won't eat, stands funny, and holds tail weird. What's wrong?

Since Beki is exhibiting a variety of symptoms (not eating and walking abnormally) I would recommend you take her to the veterinarian to be checked out. She could be suffering from back/spinal pain or abdominal pain from something like pancreatitis. A physical examination by your veterinarian will help determine the cause of her discomfort. Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Oh no! Bridgette sounds sick! It is best to have her seen by a vet. There are too many possible causes for her symptoms to narrow down without an exam. She could have ingested a toxin, have a severe infection (fungal, oral, bacterial, tick borne), be in severe pain, suffered hard or spinal trauma. There could be a regional disease that is more prevalent in the Philippines. I would have her seen by a vet as soon as possible. I wish you the best!

It sounds as Buzz is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet the first chance you get, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti nausea injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.

It sounds as though Honey is quite nauseous with her licking her lips. There are many possible causes of what you are describing and because of that, I would recommend having her examined by a veterinarian so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. I would recommend starting with an examination and then having her blood tested to see if there are any concerning changes on her blood test. This may not be her time to go yet as she may have something treatable such as an infection. I hope this helps and that Honey gets better soon! I’m sorry Buddy isn’t feeling well. The good news is that his blood work looked good! Sometimes with real nebulous Symptoms such as what Buddy is displaying it can be difficult to pin point the cause. When he is sleeping standing or sitting it makes me suspect that laying down is uncomfortable. This makes me wonder is his belly or his back is uncomfortable . Young dogs certainly have a reputation for eating things they shouldn’t and an intestinal foreign body would be high on my list of concerns. Also I see a lot of back pain in these types of cases as well. Sometimes serial examinations are helpful because you find things on a repeat examination that maybe wasn’t as evident the day before. If he doesnt seem to improve then I would encourage you to have a follow up appointment soon. An x-Ray of his abdomen may be recommended. Best of luck and I hope he improves soon. Hi there! Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! The clinical symptoms you describe are concerning for something serious going on with Daisy. She could be acting like that from perhaps severe dehydration and hypovolemia (lack of volume in her circulatory system) from so much diarrhea and recent history of anorexia and not drinking water. She could have also being exposed to some toxin that is affecting both her gastrointestinal and neurologic systems. I highly recommend you take her to a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment as soon as possible. Good luck!
