My 10-month-old dog isn't eating or drinking. What should I do?

I would be worried about a 10 month old puppy not eating. This is obviously abnormal. I suggest you get him to a vet for an examination. Not eating is not a specific sign of any one disease process or illness so therefore there is not much I can recommend. Literally anything can cause inappetence. It sometimes takes longer than 12 hours for a sick animal to get better. You will still have to try and hand feed her and syringe water into her if possible. If she does not start drinking after 24 hours, then your veterinarian may have to put her on iv fluids. Once she is hydrated she will likely feel less nauseous and will start drinking again and hopefully eating. Keep her comfortable, and tend to her like you would tend to a sick child. It sounds as Molu is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet the first chance you get, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.
