My Shih-Tzu’s claw on the thumb of his right front paw is turned upside down. I’m not sure how or when it happened, there doesn’t seem to be any blood, and he doesn’t even really seem to be in pain when he walks on it. It’s only when I go to touch the nail that he reacts like he’s in pain. I’ve felt aroud the rest of the paw and he seems fine, he only reacts when I touch the actual nail, so I don’t feel like he’s broken any bones. Do you think he needs a vet trip? And what do you think is wrong?
