Poor Rex! The lesion on his muzzle is unusual and could be due to an insect or spider bite, a burn, an abrasion, or self trauma. Be sure to prevent Rex from scratching or rubbing at this lesion by putting an e-collar on him, if needed. If this lesion persists or worsens, he should be examined by a vet. I hope that all goes well!
