Why is my dog's mouth still swollen and bleeding after broken teeth?

If the tooth is swollen/infected then it needs to be extracted (surgically). Why has that not been done? Have you refused to have the surgery done? There is only so much the medication can do; the tooth needs to come out.

Poor Osi! Apply gentle pressure if he will let you to try to stop the bleeding. Take him into the vet first thing in the morning, and don't feed him in the morning. The vet will likely need to sedate him to remove the broken tooth, and he needs an empty stomach to be sedated safely. Best of luck.

I recommend making an appointment with your vet when they open to take a look at it. Though she isn’t acting painful, it may become painful or infected. There isn’t anything you can do at home and no safe medications you can give for pain. If it is broken, she will likely need to undergo anesthesia to have the tooth removed. It should resolve with the treatment described. If not, recheck with your veterinarian. If it is an abscess, it may need to be lanced and drained. You should also confirm the entire tooth and roots has been removed. A bit of tooth root left behind may cause infection.

The pulp cavity is the center of the tooth where the nerves and blood supply run. The problem with having the pulp cavity exposed is that the area will be painful, and bacteria can now get into the tooth. In order to prevent infection, either the tooth needs to be extracted or a root canal needs to be performed. If your vet doesn't perform these procedures, they can refer you to a veterinary dentist who does. But have your vet evaluate Lars and give you their recommendation.
