My 12-year-old Golden has a lump under her ear. Can it be removed?

This lesion/lump needs to be checked and analysed as there are many conditions and types of tumors that could look like that. take Henry to the vet, they will perform a fine needle aspiration on the growth and send it to the lab for analysis. when the result comes, the vet will advise what needs to be done according to the diagnosis.

No, unfortunately it doesn't mean the the lump isn't cancer. The only way to rule out cancer is to take a sample of the cells of the tumor either with a fine needle aspirate or biopsy, and examine those cells under a microscope. If this just showed up, I would recommend having a veterinarian take a look at this. It may be a type of tumor that needs to be removed called a mast cell tumor.
