My dog has a lump on his leg with dark fur. Should I worry about it?

Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Male | neutered | 10 lbs

My dog has a small lump underneath his skin on his back leg area. I noticed it because his fur Is darker in the area of the lump. Is this Something to be concerned about?

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!

It's hard to say with out seeing a picture or examining Charlie. I always recommend any new skin bump be looked at by your Vet. If you want to watch it that is fine, but if it changes or rapidly grows it should be looked at. Sadly both benign and cancerous growth can look the same.
