I recently lost a dog due to a tumor in belly. I have 2 other dogs one of which seems okay (not depressed) but since losing my other dog oreo been having lots of loose stools but only at night when im asleep. Today he has been eating grass n refusing to eat but hasnt thrown up and dosnt really poop during the day, other then that he seems normal, not sure if I should be worried or not?

Poor Oreo! The problem with diseases is that many diseases look the same clinically, just like in humans. Weight-loss is concerning for kidney disease, diabetes, inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, poor nutrition, heavy parasite infestation or cancer. Diarrhea can be seen with all of the above list of conditions and pets will often develop a poor hair coat with all of the above list of conditions. Oreo needs to see his veterinarian for physical exam and blood work to start figuring out what is wrong. The doctor may find out right away what the problem is or they may need to move on to other diagnostics. Until you know the cause, you cannot treat correctly. Best of luck and please feel free to post any additional questions.

I'm glad that Oreo is still feeling normal and eating and drinking. If this has continued, please take her to your vet. Take a stool sample with you, as your vet may want to check for parasites. You can try a probiotic at home; if she has a little bit of colitis (inflammation in her colon), this may help.
Thanks for asking PetCoach!
