My dog's stitches are loose after lump removal. Should I call vet?

Pet's info: Dog | Border Collie | Male | 3 years and 10 months old

Trick is 5 days post lump removal his stitches lol a little loopy like they may be coming undone the wound looks ok but I wonder if he needs to be checked by vet or just leave it till they come out in 9 days time

Thank you for posting pictures of Trick's stitches, that is very helpful! I do agree that it looks like the stitches are coming undone, and I also agree that the wound looks like it is healing well. Because I can't see him in person, I can't say for certain everything is ok, so I recommend giving your vet a call to let them know it looks like the stitches are coming undone. They can let you know if they want you to bring him in to have them checked to be safe. Best of luck!
