I would be sure the Area is cleaned will with a mild soap or hibiclens soap (available at the drug store) and apply an antibiotic ointment such as neosporin several times a day. If his hair on his chin is sticking to the wound you may need to trim around it to prevent this. If the wound increase in size/swelling or develops a discharge then you should see a vet for examination. If during the fight either dog but the other then he should see a vet for an exam and avrabies booster if he isn't up to date on his vaccine. It would also be wise to discuss his new behavior issue (aggression) with his vet.

This should heal without problem, and I would keep an eye on it for signs of infection. Hi, poor Kookie ! You should clean his wounds with lots of saline solution or sterilised water and you might need to see your vet if they discharge a lot over the next few days. This provided your dog is vaccinated against Rabies, if he is not you should see your vet ASAP.

It's unfortunately not possible to post pictures here, it's only possible through our private consultation system. A swollen lip can be caused as a result of a trauma (injury) or insect bite. If it is bleeding a lot I would recommend taking her to the vet as it is quiet difficult to treat at home, it's a delicate location to stop the bleeding or prevent the dog from licking it. If it's just bleeding a little bit and slightly swollen, it is likely to get better within a few days, try to keep the area clean as much as you can, avoid feeding wet food and make sure her water is changed several times a day.

Poor girl. Acute swelling like this usually indicates that your pet was recently bit by an insect that caused a localized inflammatory response. Try applying a ice pack to the area to help with the swelling. If it is still present or seems to be spreading to the rest of the face and neck area especially, then Kona needs to be seen by a vet right away for treatment (steroids + antihistamines). Toby is a very handsome man! If the area continues to bother him (if it stays swollen and he doesn't want you touching it) I recommend making an appointment to have him seen by a vet for diagnosis and treatment of the issue. If the swelling spreads elsewhere, he develops hives, or he begins to have any difficulty breathing, have him seen by a vet right away, as this could be a sign of a serious allergic reaction. If you are using plastic food or water bowls I recommend switching to stainless steel or glass and washing them thoroughly every day, as sometimes plastic bowls and the bacteria that can live on them can lead to irritation of the lips/ chin. If you think Toby may have chewed on an electrical wire and that may have caused the lesion on his lip, let your vet know right away, as this can be very painful.

I would probably not use Neosporin so close to the mouth, as it can easily be licked off and since it's not made for dogs I can't tell you for sure that it's safe for them to ingest. If it's not a complete puncture you can clean it with mild soap, gauze, and warm water. Watch for pus and swelling, and do see a vet if you notice any of these as Moonshine may need antibiotics.
