Why is my bulldog lethargic, vomiting, panting, and not eating?

Hi, yes always take a bulldog to see a vet sooner rather than later. Vomiting in Bulldogs can cause aspiration pneumonia because of the way their airways are . Also some prompt treatment can make vomiting improve rapidly depending on the primary cause. Hope Lola gets better soon !

It could be from the heat but i can't know for sure, if he is very lethargic you must take him to the vet right away, if he suffers from heat stroke it can be fatal within several hours if left untreated.

Possible causes of vomiting include GI illness, eating something rotten, a foreign body, or a pancreatitis. Without seeing him in person, I can't say for certain what is causing his vomiting, but I can say that when a dog is vomiting for longer than 24 hours, it's time to see a vet. There are many possibilities for the symptoms you are describing: Not eating, panting, lethargic, restless. Some things that could be wrong: she could have a fever, she could be in pain (in her belly), she could be in heart failure, have pneumonia or other lung or heart issue, she could have eaten something that is now stuck in her intestines or stomach, lyme disease, she could be bleeding some where or she could have a metabolic problem like kidney failure, liver disease, etc. The possibilities are long and some are serious. The most serious symptom you are reporting is the trouble breathing, that alone is a reason to take her to your Vet today. I wish you the best of luck!

I would monitor her for now, and if she continues to be lethargic, or appears to have trouble breathing, then I would have her seen by a vet immediately.

It could be Bon Bon's belly is just bigger from the larger than usual meal. As long as she isn't restless, anxious, trying to vomiting but can't, and excessively drooling, she should be fine. If you see any of those signs I just mentioned, take her into a vet immediately. I hope this helps.

It sounds like Ginny definitely has some GI distress going on if she is very lethargic, vomiting, and not eating. I would schedule a vet visit to have her examined if it continues, and if she seems in severe distress, has a very painful abdomen, or looks bloated, bring her in ASAP or to a local ER clinic. Various causes, such as general GI upset, obstructions, parasites, illness, pancreatitis, etc can all cause similar symptoms to this, so an exam to find the cause is best.
