My Labrador is less active and drooling. Should I see a vet?

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | unspayed | 3 years and 2 months old | 50 lbs

My lab is not as much active as she was before from 2 days..and dribles from his mouth( saliva comes from her mouth). What should i do now?

Drooling can be a sign of pain or nausea. IF she is feeling bad then she may need to see your vet. they can check her mouth and teeth for any wounds or sores or abscesses or look for any pain anywhere else. If she is not eating or having diarrhea, then that is a sign it is from nausea and they can provide medicine for that.
You can try boiled chicken and rice to see if she is interested in that food and see how she handles that.

I recommend that you have Rufus evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to check for these possibilities and others depending on the findings on exam. Nausea and diarrhea can occur secondary to conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease, dietary indiscretion, parasites, among other possibilities. I recommend that you have Lily evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. At the very least they can start her on medications to make her feel better and check her hydration status. In the meantime, keep water available at all times to try to prevent dehydration. Hi. Yes this does sound concerning. Drooling is a sign of nausea usually, or an oral irrirant or lesion in the mouth. If she has diarrhea too, I would say its most likely nausea. This can be caused by gi disease, something they ate, infection, something stuck in intestines, or many other causes. She should be seen with these signs.

My dog won't stop drooling. Is it serious and what can I do?

Poor Ruger! He could be painful or nauseous. Try feeding him a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts a couple of times a day. If this helps the drooling, feed him the bland diet for a couple of days, and then start adding back in his normal diet. Should the drooling continue on the bland diet, then I would take him into the vet. I hope this helps!
