My female dog that is 14 had looked like to have a ball sack on her back leg. It had been there for maybe a year or two, nothing had happened to it, so my mom and I didn't think much of it. This past weekend it has popped and puss has come out of it. We have been cleaning it, she doesn't seem to be in pain. Do u think you know what was on her leg?

Ouch, poor Meyla! It could be she has a cyst on her leg that has just ruptured. I would have this checked out by a vet. If she does have a cyst, the cyst sac may need to be removed surgically to prevent it from occurring again. I would clean the area with warm water and antiseptic soap, and if she tries to lick, put an Ecollar on her. You can make one at home or get one at a pet store. Give your vet a call today to make an appointment. Best of luck, I hope this helps!
