My dog has a large lump above his eye for months. What should I do?

Hello my dog has a huge lump above eye. He's a yellow lab lives in the woods. Lump started 4 months ago.

Given the duration and location of this lump, I am very concerned about a bone or cartilage tumor. It's also possible that there is an infection causing this lump, or it could be a benign cyst.

Either way, this could lead to serious problems and should be diagnosed by a veterinarian as soon as possible to prevent it from getting worse or becoming inoperable. In order to know exactly what this is, the vet will need to take a sample of it and analyze it in a laboratory.

I recommend taking Riley to the vet within the next week to get this checked-out.
