My dog is injured. Can I give him OTC pain meds when vet is closed?

Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 1 month old

Golden retriever 2 yrs old was hit by a car it’s is 1120pm bets are closed. Can I give him ibuprofen 800mg for pain or any over the counter medicine? Mouth is bleeding looks like he bit his tongue & back legs are not moving. Please help

Hello and thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Ibuprofen is very toxic to dogs, do not give it to Simon.
It is an emergency, please try and take Simon to your nearest open vet or local emergency service to get him seen. There are no over the counter medications that would be safe to administer at home, I am afraid.
