Do dogs need immunity supplements, or is a good diet enough?

I am not familiar with Dr. Jeff's products. So sorry. I'm not really sure what you are looking for in a supplement? An immune system booster? Just a vitamin? Probiotics? Skin/Coat health? Joint health? As for other immune support, I like Omega 3's (http://vrshealth.com/canine-products/omegadog/), probiotics (Purina fortiflora which can be found online), feed a high quality diet and you could discuss acupuncture as well. Thank you for your question about Chhutki. As long as she is up to date with her vaccines, you don't have to worry about her. Being confined will not compromise her immunity. The kind of sterile environment that may affect immunity is one that is sealed, has air pumped in and out, and requires special clothing to enter. While your home may be very clean, it will not be a fully sterile environment. You don't need to get her any of these supplements. For one, she doesn't need them, and two, they don't work and are a waste of money. Best of luck.

This product is essentially just a vitamin and mineral supplement. If Buzo is being fed a packaged puppy food that you get from the store, then this is not necessary, because it will already have all the vitamins and minerals needed. If he is being fed a home-cooked food, then it would be good to give him this supplement. I hope that helps and all is well with Buzo.

There aren’t any studies that show this is effective, so I can’t tell you a dose. If you choose to use it, use your best judgement on the amount. Probiotics made for pets would be a better immune booster, in my opinion.

A dog that is fed a well balanced complete diet for the size of his breed, will not need any supplements at all. If you add supplements you will upset the balance of the diet. Unless your dog is lacking certain minerals or vitamins (proven by a blood test) I do not recommend you feed a supplement. Keep feeding a good diet and all should be well.
