Tumours in the legs generally do not resolve within 5days and the severe, progressive anemia would indicate a possible bone marrow condition or autoimmune disease which may possibly have been triggered by ticks or an internal tumour

If Leo is that ill and had elevated WBC counts, it is possible that the penis infection is what is causing it, or there may be something more systemic going on. However it would be hard to give a definite answer to that without seeing the full blood work and examining him. If the area is infected, keeping it clean and continuing antibiotic treatment is best. If the penis is not fully retracting into the sheath, it could be an issue called paraphimosis causing it, which is caused by either swelling or other obstruction preventing it from retracting fully. Your vet may want to monitor the area and may recommend surgically opening the sheath some to allow the penis to retract if needed. If the medications don't seem to be helping, hospitalization with more intense therapy may be needed to help him feel better.

Blood is certainly a possibility, and could be a very serious complication. However tick fever can also cause vasculitis. This is inflammation of the blood vessels and can make them “leaky” and fluid can leak out. These symptoms are very suspicious of a tick born disease such as tick fever, babesiosis or lyme disease. you should take him back to your vet and request a blood test to identify those potential blood parasites, treatment is with some very specific medications and antibiotics.

I am sorry Scooby is not feeling well. Typically this swelling is called edema. Edema is when fluid accumulates and can be due to many things. The test results you posted do not have tick titers. If you are concerned about tick disease I would test for tick titers. Also another piece of information that would be helpful is a protein level. When protein levels are low it allows edema. The doxycycline itself will not cause edema. However if Scooby does not have a tick born disease it is possible the doxycycline is not going to be useful in solving his problem. I hope that helps

She could still be suffering from Tick fever, this disease is known to be very resistant to treatment and it sometimes takes several months of treatment to get rid of it. you will need to take her back to the vet ASAP in order to resume the antibiotic treatment, this time for a longer period of time.

It sounds like prostatitis and/or cancer. I'm not exactly sure what your question is. We don't have enough information to be able to guide you to a decision.
