I am so sorry to hear about Simba. This is a life threatening emergency and he needs to get to the emergency vet IMMEDIATELY. These cases can go into severe crisis including shock and DIC (a severe clotting disorder leading to bleeding out). You can wet him down with cool (not ice) water, especially feet and belly/armpits, a fan, and get him to the vet now! https://veterinarypartner.vin.com/default.aspx?pid=19239&id=4951333
